Byron grew up in the Cincinnati area with four siblings and hardworking parents. Sports participation was expected with three rules: show up on time, don’t quit and behave while playing. Those rules for sports translated well into “life rules” for Byron, who played basketball at the college and professional levels, and still enjoys shooting hoops with friends and family today.
He got his start in the financial services industry after college while interning for a successful advisor. His competitive nature, knack for numbers and genuine interest in getting to know other people played to Byron’s strengths as a budding financial advisor. Through the years, he developed a “needs-based approach” to working with clients with an emphasis on listening and getting to know the client before making recommendations.
Byron earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Xavier University. He is a dedicated husband, father and grandfather to his family. Outside of family and work, you can find him staying active on the basketball court or enjoying a football or baseball game. And, if you are a fan of Xavier University basketball, you will hear Byron’s voice broadcast across the airwaves as he has provided color commentary for the team since 1998.
